Topic 1 : Sustainable Development Goals.

Assalamualaikum! Hello! Konnichiwa! 😇👋

My name is Tengku Muhammad Harith 
from Section 31 and first year student of KOE IIUM. 

I'm here my first ever blog to tell all of you about one of my uni subject which is UNGS 1201. This subject is about The Sustainble Development : Issues, Principles and Practices.

My lecturer of this subject is Asst. Prof  'Atiah Abdullah Sidek from Kulliyyah of Engineering. 




Reflection of SDG

Sustainable Development is defined as "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs“ and advocated integration of environmental considerations into all aspects of economic and development policy in order to meet this goal.
From the meaning of SDG above we know that the main goal of Sustainable Development is to meet, find, explore the needs of today, without compromising the needs of tomorrow. 

I learned that SDG is important for us to build a stable relationship between human activities and the nature or environment around us, which does not reduce the nature for future generations to enjoy a quality of life as good as we have right now. 

The aim is to balanced our economic, environmental and social needs for now and next generations that consist of 17 goals. All the goals have their own aim and objective that should be done. 

SDG also encourage us as a student to be active participant on every program local or global societies to  solve the world's challenges. For them to be member of our societies, it is important to grow global communities who are passionate about caring about others or our environment. SDG engage and involve students in practical task and problem solving. 

To conclude of this topic, all the goals will can achieved should be start from us, we should took part or give an action on it. We also should support all the groups such as GO, NGO or community that help to achieved all the 17 goals. Even though the Sustainable Development Goals consist of a long term but with our helps that will be more easier or can has a short pass to achieve all the goals.
